What is the most popular religion of South Korea?
About a half of all people in Korea have no religion. The other half is almost equally divided into Buddhism and Christianity. About 10% of Koreans are Catholics. Some reports say Buddhism is the most common religion. Other reports indicate Christianity or Protestantism is the most popular choice of religion in Korea. In general, people of different religions respect each other and there is no turmoil. Atheism is also respected by religious groups and atheists are free from ridicule.
